Prologue of Aspect

"He's dead! Supreme God Arterus has been slain!" The young blue haired maiden screamed as she entered Highpoint, the chamber of the All Gods. " Iwenttogivehimhislunchbuthedidn'topenhisdoorsoIopeneditIknowitsagainsttherulesbutIopeneditand-"

"Gather yourself Aldena" commanded the goddess as she rose from her ebony throne that seemed to reach infinitely into the sky. " Now tell me, what exactly did you see?"

"Supreme Goddess Etraeus, I, Aldena of Arterus, have seen the deceased body of Supreme-former Supreme God Arterus. The body is currently laying in the bed with a weapon that I am not familiar with plunged within its chest."

"How can this be? The only way for this to have happened is if someone on the level of a Supreme did this!" proclaimed Etraeus as her hand, that seemed to match the color of her impossible throne, reached into the air facing the northern section of the room. "It was in this direction no?" She recalled as suddenly she pulled her hand away as  she grabbed the very fabric of reality itself and tore it open; leaving a hole the size of household door showing the room and body of the deceased god. " Aldena!"

"Yes Supreme Goddess?"

"Use your Aspect and tell me what exactly happened here"

"I cannot do so Supreme Goddess"

"You defy a Supreme?" Etraeus questioned as her body begins to fill with power, her golden hair beginning to whip uncontrollably as if it were caught in a wind tunnel.

" I would never Supreme Goddess" Aldena said as she quickly prostrated. " I attempted to use my Aspect the moment I set foot into the room but I was unable to see what events transpired."

" So not only can this person kill a Supreme but they also possess the ability to block an Aspect? That means whomever this person is, they can kill us without us knowing." Etraeus paces around the room in her ethereal verdant gown for what seems to be minutes before stopping in front of Arterus. Her eyes gaze upon her fallen brethren, full of sadness and guilt. "My poor Arterus" she whispers " Who would do this to you?" Just then she has an epiphany. " Aldena, I want you to check the AE of this room right now. If they were powerful enough to do what they did, there is no way their energy has completely vanished from here"

" At once Supreme Goddess" Aldena replied as a device materialized from out of nowhere and onto her wrist. " Scanning area for all AE within the last 24 hours. Ok there is yours, mine, an unknown and Arterus-wait that doesn't make sense?"

"What do you mean Aldena?"

" Arterus's AE didn't disappear" she said with extreme incredulous " the unknown took his energy!"

" Show me"

Aldena turns the Abstract Energy Reader towards Etraeus and shows her the data. Etraeus's face showcases her disbelief

"Aldena, locate Arterus's AE right now. If we can find out where it is then we can possibly discover who it was who took it"

" At once Supreme Goddess". Aldena begins to track the energy when she suddenly stops and shows Etraeus the data. " I was able to track his energy to a lower dimension- wait something is happening! How can this be? His energy is appearing in multiple places in this dimension!"

"Someone is dispersing his power" Etraeus said

"Is that even possible Supreme Goddess?"

" It would appear so. Tell me, where is the last place in that dimension where the reading stops?"

" It stops on a planet. From the readings I am getting this planet does not possess a large amount of AE but has tremendous Abstract Potential."

" What is this planet Aldena?"

" It is called Earth, Supreme Goddess"

Etraeus pauses for a moment as she closes her emerald eyes and takes a deep breath. " Aldena, you are to go to this planet Earth and locate the individual who did this to Arterus. Bring them back to me so that I may get answers from them"

" At once my Supreme. Shall I prepare myself for your Aspect Supreme Goddess?"

"No" she replied " If we can track the enemy and they were able to sneak into Arterus's room then there is no guarantee they cannot also track us. You would be bathed in my energy and giveaway any advantage you may have. You will take an Astral Piercer  to Earth. Now go and complete your task"

" Your will is my way and your way is my salvation" Aldena says as she puts her thumb to her right breast, index and middle finger pointed upwards. As she leaves the room Etraeus returns her gaze back to Arterus and kneels down over his body. "Tell me brother, why do I feel as if your death was the opening salvo to war? " Etraeus goes through the tear and seals it away. She makes her way towards her throne and as she sits down a screen pops up in front of her. " Attention All Supremes, I request we reconvene at Highpoint immediately. I have troubling news"

The Nerd Reviews: Suicide Squad

After the less than stellar reviews of both "Man of Steel" and "Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice: The Justice League Prequel with weird setups", DC really needed to show fans that they knew what they were doing; they needed a film to recapture the hope of moviegoers that they can watch a film produced by Warner Bros of a DC property and not be disappointed. Does Suicide Squad remedy the situation or is just another heap of dirt on the coffin of the DC Cinematic Universe?

TNR: X-Men: Apocalypse

The reviews for this movie have been...mixed to say the least for the 3rd entry in the rebooted (kinda) X-Men Franchise. Where do I stand on this? Well let's just say I hope this apocalypse means the end of Bryan Singer's run as director for the franchise.

The Nerd Reviews: Captain America Civil War

To say I was excited to see this film is a massive understatement; for the 24 hours leading up to the film I averted my eyes from social media, watched The Winter Soldier and Age of Ultron repeatedly, I even re read the Civil War event from the comics. The time was at hand to watch Civil at my local theater and 3:50pm, and when the previews finally stopped....a good movie began to roll.

Comics I Read This Week - Marvel 10.7.15

I know I've been gone for a bit but I'm back so let's not focus on the past. This week marks the start of the "All New, All Different" Marvel line so I've decided to start a new segment to coincide with that, thus the name of this post and ya know...me talking about the comics I've read. Anyways, lets get right to it, starting from Marvel.

Arrow Season 4 Trailer Released!

A lot of people were not too thrilled at the way season 3 went, especially the whole Olicitity thing, but I didn't mind season 3 that much because I view Arrow as a comic book; not every single issue/volume is gonna be great but it adds to the mythos. Anyways, forget about season 3 if you hate it so much because season 4 is around the corner and by the looks of the trailer it will be awesome. I love the fact that Oliver is becoming a bit more light hearted as the character was going too much into the Bruce Wayne direction for my liking; Ollie may have gone through some stuff but he is never above wisecracking and shooting people with boxing glove arrows so its a welcome change to see him happy for once..even if we all know its not gonna last. Diggle as Magnegro is gonna take some time to get used to but at least he finally got a costume, Laurel looks more comfortable as Canary which I love because she was getting a lot of crap from fans last season, Thea is going crazy...that's so Thea, Damian Dark and Anarky are there, just looks like a lot of things happening in season 4 and I am here for it. Now where is my Flash trailer?

Earlier this year I wrote about the trailer they dropped for the Fantastic Four film; it was not the most exciting trailer in the world but nevertheless I said I'd reserve judgement on the film until it came out...well the film is out and here is my judgement.
