So There are Rumblings About Spider-Man

If you've paid any kind of attention to the crapshow that is Sony Pictures, you've undoubtedly saw that they are freaking scrambling to salvage the Spider-Man brand (seriously they were even considering doing an Aunt May film...seriously) and this of course brought up talks of Marvel and Sony making a deal; so I figured why not just speculate the crap out of this like everyone else has?

Before we even get to who could possibly even play Spider-Man (did I mention that Marvel doesn't want Andrew to return?) we must first tackle the issue of just how in the hell Marvel would go about implementing him into the universe because that seems pretty important right? I have 2 ways that Spider-Man could transition from the Sonyverse to the MCU.

1. Peter Parker is already in the MCU and has been since the start
The Battle of New York could have stretched beyond what was seen
I am going to assume that you have seen the Avengers by now, so remember the Battle of New York? Remember all those aliens and explosions going on? Peter was there, well not smack dab in the middle of it but he could have been in Midtown or somewhere else in New York City; remember they never said that the battle took place in a specific part of the city, for all we know Thor might have knocked some Chitauri's miles away with his lightning; anyways that would allow for Spider-Man to have been involved in the battle, but to a lesser degree which is fine because Spidey is a street level hero and that will make it all the sweeter for when he's in the big boy battles. As far as to why no one has heard of him, that could be easily explained away by the fact that THE AVENGERS EXIST AND WOULD MAKE ALL THE HEADLINES. Think about it for a second, if aliens came to Earth, do you really think a newspaper headline would be about how a cat was rescued from a tree? With names like Tony Stark, Thor and Captain America being around, you'd be hard press to have any other hero get any shine, plus the Daily Bugle could be writing about him and just no one cares; kinda like how I make these posts and only like 20 people read it (yay self deprecation).  So yah, Spider-Man exists but is lowkey because he's a street level hero and the Avengers get all the press.

2. He isn't Spider-Man yet
Everyone starts somewhere
Let's say Peter still exists in the MCU but he didn't get his powers yet. The Avengers came out in 2012 and Infinity War ( The movie he'd most likely be involved in) isn't due out until 2018. During those 6 years he could have gotten his powers, did the wrestling thing and then by the time 2018 he could be 2-3 years into his career, he'd be known locally but due to him not really going up against any major villains he's largely unknown to the MCU. He would accidentally get involved in the Infinity War, prove his mettle and earn his status as a true hero..or something like that idk but you get the gist of what I'm saying right? Yes? Awesome you guys are smart.

I feel like the 1st one would work the best but the 2nd one is a good one too. I want the next Spider-Man film to take place in his adult years and not be a teenage soap opera like the previous 5 films, we get it...Mary Jane/Gwen Stacy is in danger and you gotta save them but damn let's change up the formula. Next time I will go over which actors I think would do a good job as Marvel's Spider-Man.
