What I want from the next Thor

After 10 films, with more on the way, Marvel has proven that it has the formula for cranking out hit superhero films, but like with any formula things can get predictable and lead to stagnation.  I don't want that to happen so I've decided to start a series on what I want to happen in the next MCU ( Marvel Cinematic Universe) film, starting with the God of Thunder, Thor. So without further ado, here's what I want in the next Thor film.
Ragnarok, this is something that so desperately needs to happen in Thor because it's a massive event that affects all of Asgard but it can also be a self contained story (which is perfect because I am starting to get tired of everything being related to the Infinity Gauntlet, like I get it...it's a thing). For the uninitiated,

Ragnarok is essentially the Norse version of the Apocalypse, specifically it's the end of all the Asgardians. Ragnarok is a repeating cycle for the Asgardians; they die, they are reborn, they fight, they die, etc..., and it involves Loki, his daughter, the Frost Giants and Hela. I think it would be really random to introduce Loki's daughter so I've thought of a perfect substitute for her: Surtur.

Surtur is a really bad ass demon who can go toe to toe with Odin, making him the perfect enemy for Asgard to go up against in the coming apocalypse. Another thing that is great about adding Surtur to the mix is that he calls for all of Asgard to take up in the fight, which is what I want to see because we rarely get to see anyone but Thor mix it up and it's the perfect time to give the spotlight to other characters *coughLadySifcough*. Just imagine seeing Thor and Odin teaming up to fight Surtur, The Frost Giants invading Asgard with the Warriors 3 and Sif battling them alongside the rest of Asgard, hey maybe even Heimdall will do something other than not see things coming and betray the wishes of Odin 2 films in a row! In all seriousness though, having such an enemy would allow for some character growth and sweet action scenes which is pretty much what a Thor movie should have. " But isn't Loki currently pretending to be Odin? How would this work?" Glad you asked my inquisitive friend, you see there is no way that Loki could have killed Odin...like at all...so maybe Odin took another nap or idk left Asgard to go grief over the death of Frigga? Idk where he is but Loki pretending to be Odin actually helps to jump start Ragnarok. Loki is a petty, vindictive whiny baby who holds of to grudges for a long time so I figure this is his plan: He pretends to be Odin and gradually weakens Asgards defense either by making stupid decrees or idk doing that magic stuff he does. He then goes to Muspelheim ( the dimension of Surtur) and strikes a bargain with Surtur..probably something like if he allows Loki to be his right hand man or something he'll give him unfettered access to Asgard. Loki took Frigga's death pretty hard and this might be his way of dealing with his loss, by getting rid of the very place that failed to protect his mother..or something like that, anyways the alliance is formed and then bam, instant Ragnarok.
Tell me you wouldn't want to see this
In Thor: The Dark World, we saw the action shift away from Earth (for the most part) and give us a glimpse into the other realms, I want more of this. No more Earth, Earth is boring and if he goes to Earth then people will ask "why aren't the Avengers here" and also Jane Foster is there and I don't want her in the movie because her character really adds nothing to the story. Keep the film in the other realms so that we can really dive into the lore of Thor, I want to see the elves crafting new weapons and armor for the Asgardians to use in battle not see Dr. Selvig (sp?) doing random stuff ( although they should find a way to put Kat Dennings in the film....for reason). Let's have the majority of the film take place in a war like environment with skirmishes here and there before we have the grand finale to give it a sense of scale, I really don't want it to be just one big fight at the end..its the freaking apocalypse! Also, Odin has to die....no one really dies in the MCU and without his death it would feel like there was no real stakes on the line ( I know Frigga died but c'mon no one cared about her dying because her character said like 5 lines, sliced up Malekith and was promptly disposed of in the same scene). I want to have Odin die along with Surtur, leaving  Thor as the rightful king of Asgard and having him rebuild Asgard under his leadership; I think that would be some major character growth ( not that instant growth they did in Thor 2, seriously he was on Earth a weekend and suddenly understands humility and responsibility? Not buying it), plus it would allow for the creation of new Asgardians, as they are reincarnated in different forms, and maybe even have Thor become a woman (if he like dies in the film and is reborn as a lady) to match the current comic? They could a ton of different ways with this but I just really hope they decide to go all in in the lore and bring Ragnarok to life.

As always, feel free to leave your comments...I do actually read them when I get them.
