That's that sh*t I don't like: Batman vs Superman

I'm sure by now you've all heard of the recent addition of Jason Momoa as Aquaman. Normally I would be super excited about characters finally making it to the big screen, but something about all the casting has been bothering me: what film are they making?

Way back at Comic Con when it was announced I was excited and also confused. Batman vs Superman sounded like every comic fan's dream but I felt like it was too soon; Superman had just come out and instead of establishing himself as a true hero we already have a team up with Batman, who could have easily been in his own film. After I made peace with that it was announced that Wonder Woman would also be making an appearance and I again found myself saying "why not put her in her own film first?". Again,I made my piece with it and again more heroes were announced until they are 2 heroes away from it being a full on Justice League film.
It's still a Superman film if he's in it right?
It's impossible to ignore the fact that WB/DC is following the Marvel blueprint so comparisons to how the Avengers came to be. I feel as if DC is rushing in order to go head to head with Marvel instead of doing there own thing, which is why they are cramming ao many characters into one film. I hate when films are overstuffed because then it becomes a battle for screen time and damages the experience for people. Imagine watching Batman vs Superman and it has Wonder Woman in it and she has more screen time than Supes, that would piss of Superman fans because its his movie;conversely, if Wonder Woman had very little screen time it would piss off WW fans, same goes for Cyborg and Aquaman.  Hawkeye from The Avengers is the best example of what can go wrong with too many heroes. He had the least amount of screen time and lines and was largely a non factor and I never really felt like he was on the team. His introduction to the Marvel Cinematic Universe was pretty crappy too, especially seeing how Black Widow and now The Falcon were introduced; they were integral to the plot while Hawkeye had a scene in Thor.
This not how you introduce a supposed major character
I know the film hasn't been released and we know next to nothing about it but I can't help but speculate.  All these additions just seem so unnecessary, I mean I know it's called " Dawn of Justice" but who knew it was so on the nose? Maybe it'll be done in a way that does justice to the characters (unintentional pun) or maybe Aquaman will be the new Hawkeye, all I know is that they missed an opportunity to call it " World's Finest" and that's a sin....also I may be watching too much CinemaSins.
